Technical Training & Development Instructor
The Role
We are looking for a professional and mature Technical Training & Development Instructor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our expanding team, developing and delivering technical training at the forefront of Air Traffic Management.
As a member of the training team, you will be responsible for providing technical training to Aquila Air Traffic Engineers (ATE’s) in support of the Ministry of Defence Project Marshall delivery.
Your core responsibilities will include:
· Deliver Technical Training to Aquila Air Traffic Engineers on various Surveillance Radar, Navigational Aids and Air Traffic Communication equipment.
· Develop existing training courses and create innovative and engaging technical training.
· Create supporting training documentation, following the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and JSP 822.
· Support the maintenance of the training aids.
This is a practical, face to face role where you will engage and influence our ATE’s, preparing them for their future careers within the organisation, help maintain safety, and support the training team and company growth.
About You
You are a confident and professional training instructor who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys making a tangible impact. You build trust quickly, communicate with influence and can quickly adapt your training delivery to match the requirements of your audience.
Proven technical experience, ideally from within the Royal Air Force Air Traffic Engineering domain (Trade Group 3/4). Hold existing training qualifications or be willing to undertake instructor development training.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to deliver engaging remote and face to face presentations and technical training..
· Strong knowledge of Air Traffic Engineering Surveillance Radar and/or Navigational Aid equipment.
· Experience in delivering technical training with a proven record in engineering-based subjects, ideally with a bias towards Air Traffic Management Systems.
· Motivated to work independently as required, maintaining drive and performance to deliver successful outcomes and solutions.
· Be willing to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas to deliver onsite training.

Security Clearance Statement
Due to the nature of the work that we do, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires you have a Right to Work in the UK and to achieve Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment.
