We have over 200 employees located all around the UK on MOD Airfields, within our Service Centre in Swanwick, and at our Head Office, in Whiteley near Southampton.

Meet Our People
Emily Makepeace, Senior Commercial Officer
I work as part of the Commercial team as a focal point of contact for internal and external customers regarding selected contractual matters. I manage a data base which tracks the thousands of contract obligations that Aquila has to comply with. I am also involved in work related to increasing new business for Aquila.
Aquila is a great place to work and Project Marshall is a really interesting and important project to be involved in. I feel empowered in my role and I feel like I’m challenged and learn something new every day. Aquila is encouraging and supportive of my personal learning and development and working for Aquila has enabled me to achieve a great work life balance. I am proud to say I work for Aquila.
Kevin Nash, Service Desk Operator
My primary function is to manage the technical incidents that occur on Air Traffic Equipment. Being able to build a good relationship with the customer and our regional maintainers is key in the Service Centre so, we keep in regular contact with both as best we can. Seeing the life cycle of an incident through to completion can be extremely rewarding. Especially given the importance of the equipment we maintain.
Aquila has a great support structure and it’s an incredibly welcoming place to work. I genuinely enjoy walking through the door each day. We’re currently operating a 22 year contract with the MOD and I fully intend on seeing through to the end.
Nicola Denbigh, Communication Specialist
I work within the Communication team and my role has so much variety. Every day and every week there is something different to get involved in. I mainly work on the internal communications at Aquila and the teams I work with really make a difference to my role. I am lucky enough to get out to the airfields and meet the people who will be using our new equipment. I can see that Project Marshall will make a huge difference to them. I am very proud to be part of it.
With Aquila being such a new company it is great fun to be part of shaping it’s future and I am gaining new experiences every day. Aquila offers me a great place to work and has a really flexible approach towards my work life balance.
